windows mobile device handler

wmdsync.exe unable to locate component. This application has failed to start because RAPI.dll was not found. Re-install application. This is the message I get when I start up. My updates show that this update was installed successfully. Yet, when I look for it in the update history, I can not locate it. How do I re-install the application? Needless to say, I am unable to sync my Aximx50v. Thanks in advance for any help I receive. JRD
